Green Map System director Wendy Brawer's July 2003 visit to Japan

Here are 2 pix from Japan, one from Nagoya (this crew is planning the bike access for EXPO 2005, and took me for a ride) & the other from the Hiroshima workshop! The whole trip was astonishing.

My July visit to Japan brought me in contact with about a dozen active Green Map projects, including participating Hiroshima workshop for youth, design students, city employees and senior citizens, and the Cycling Mapmakers, who are planning access for bicyclers to EXPO 2005 in Aichi Prefecture through their Green Mapmaking process.
